Singapore’s first online vegan grocer to open its first retail store on World Vegan Day
27 OCTOBER 2020 - Everyday Vegan, Singapore’s first online vegan grocer, will be opening their first retail store to meet the growing demand for vegan products in Singapore.
The store will open at the Grandstand Mall in Turf Club Rd on November 1, 2020 to coincide with global celebrations for World Vegan Day.
Amanda Teng, the founder of Everyday Vegan, said “Our goal is to make vegan products affordable for everyone so that it is easier for everyone to choose kindness. Everyday Vegan started as a vegan lifestyle store in 2017, focused on vegan fashion and accessories. We mainly participated in fairs and markets. When the pandemic hit, we saw that there was an immediate rise in demand for vegan groceries. We have decided to expand into physical retail and enhance the Everyday Vegan shopping experience. Our customers have also grown to include non-vegans who are looking to lead healthier and cruelty-free lifestyles.”
Interested members of the public can purchase a $5 ticket at everydayvegangrocer.com/products/tickets to attend the opening event. At the event, they will get a free drink along with a $10 Everyday Vegan voucher. They can also buy vegan cakes and Magnum dairy-free ice cream on a ‘pay-as-you-like’ model. All proceeds will go to ACRES, a non-profit wildlife rescue service.
The event will also feature products from other renowned vegan brands such as Vitasoy, Beyond, Gardein, Miyoko’s Creamery, Quorn and Oatly.
Social distancing measures will be in place to ensure that the event remains COVID-safe.
